Dwarves have been subjugated by the Orcs, and are primarily restricted to the laborer class, though some few manage to operate as merchants and other “white collar” professions. Due to the banning of beards within city limits, most dwarves have adopted a look of *mustache-into-muttonchops*. Adapting the Orcish dueling custom, bare-knuckle boxing has become popular among the Dwarves. Few living Dwarves remember the times before Orcs rose to power, and among those, most accept the new order, recognizing that the Orcs would be hard to oust, and if they had an enemy to fight again, they would likely return to their more savage roots.
